Meet the Team

Kari Garner

Owner & Registered Dietitian

Springtime Nutrition, LLC was founded on my passion to partner with you to eliminate the stress, frustration and overwhelm of making lifestyle changes. I am committed to helping you learn that small changes can make a big impact. Whether interested in preventative care, managing a new medical diagnosis or overcoming lifestyle struggles necessitated by a medical condition, I am here to support you!

I received my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition from East Carolina University and subsequently became a Registered Dietitian in 2006. I have worked with patients in a variety of settings- with the WIC program, hospitals, cardiac rehab programs and physician offices. I have now been a Registered Dietitian for more than 15 years and recently obtained my certification in Diabetes Care & Education.

Looking back on my childhood, I remember being surrounded by food and kitchen activities. From picking produce in the garden, chopping vegetables for canning and cooking with my parents, my fondest memories are in the kitchen.

It is no surprise I still love food as an adult! I believe food is amazing and nothing gets me more excited than growing food, sharing recipes and seeing how food brings people together.

I currently live in Summerville, SC (Charleston metro area) with my husband and kids, but for most of my life I lived in Central and Eastern North Carolina.
